Vay-cay!

We just got back a few hours ago from our vacation ("vay-cay") in Louisville. We've been there since Monday. I had a conference and my own room for two nights (how often does that happen?) so Mike packed a bag, and before we knew it we were on vacation! Among the highlights of our trip:
  • I got on a roller coaster for the first time at Kentucky Kingdom. I hated it (it felt like a 45-second car crash), but now I can say without question that I hate roller coasters! I did, however, get on the Road Runner kiddie coaster before leaving, so perhaps I haven't totally written them off...
  • Mike was swarmed by birds at the zoo. They had a nifty exhibit where you could go inside the bird area, and they would land on you. Sadly, I wasn't quite as popular with the birds as Mike was, but I have some great photos that I will share later.
  • After a visit to the science museum, Mike and I have decided to never have kids. (OK, not really, but seeing that many kids in an enclosed area would make anyone think twice about reproducing!)

That's all for now...I've been away from home for almost a week and a half, so I'm going to take the rest of the evening to relax.
